Dozens killed in Wad Medani in an Army airstrike on Mosque
On Tuesday, a committee of local activists said that (31) people were killed in an air strike launched by the Sudanese Army on a Mosque in the central Sudanese city of Wad Medani on Monday night.
The Wad Medani Resistance Committee, one of hundreds of volunteer groups coordinating aid across the war-torn country, told Agence France-Presse (AFP) in a statement that the attack took place “after evening prayers” and targeted Sheikh Al-Jili Mosque and its surrounding neighborhood in Al-Jazeera state just south of the capital of Khartoum.
