What does Al Burhan’s Air Force want from the

UAE Ambassador's headquarters ?!

Moneim Suleiman

Once the news regarding the “Brotherhood” who control the Sudanese Army leadership targeting the residence of the UAE Ambassador in the capital (Khartoum) using aircrafts spread, I was sure that they had suffered a major and crushing defeat in their last venture in Al-Jili Oil Refinery, and before that in their suicide operation to cross the White Nile and Fatehab (Salvation) Bridges.

At this juncture, they are trying to turn their defeat into victory by diverting attention through creating an international enemy and targeting it, as the 1st (drowned) Yasser Al-Atta does habitually, whenever the military siege on the ground tightens on him, he attacks (Abu Dhabi) with a foul and obscene language!!

By targeting the UAE Ambassador’s headquarters in Khartoum, the Brotherhood’s Port Sudan Authority has hammered the last nail into the “coffin” of its relationship (and not the relationship of the Sudanese people with the UAE), in a clear and blatant violation of customs and traditions, as well as the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, which regulates and governs relations between States, and emphasizes the protection of diplomatic headquarters and diplomatic envoys.

This convention stipulates that the host State is legally obligated to protect diplomatic headquarters and envoys even in cases of armed conflict and political crises.

Unfortunately, and scandalously, those who impersonate the authority and government in our country today are a gang of ideologically corrupt and murderous people who pay no respect to nor abide by any agreement, and are incapable of fulfilling a covenant or promise.

They are driven by their sick whims and authoritarian desires, following the primitive laws of nature to achieve their interests. Every time they receive a severe blow, the fear in their hearts of their imminent defeat increases, propelling a similar exacerbation of their madness, hence they strike left and right without discrimination.

These are simple physics laws that even invertebrates use. There is no doubt in mind that in this primitive, dull climate, those who possess the lowest aspects in everything will take over the reins of power in our country. It was then natural for a primitive character, with low mental and moral abilities, like “Yasser Al-Atta” to assume a seat at the leadership level.

Then the entire scene can possibly be flattened to fit his small stature, and military affairs are managed in a criminal, mafia-like manner, in the unfortunate manner that we are currently witnessing!

I have no doubt that this criminal operation is planned and orchestrated. In addition, its an extension of the verbal war whose tasks were assigned to the Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the remnants’ Army, the 1st (drowned) Yasser Al-Atta, who has become known in Sudanese circles as the biggest clown.

Where the Muslim Brotherhood and its militias entrusted him with the task of insulting the sisterly State of the Emirates, Abu Dhabi has responded -and still does- with disciplined behavior, open-mindedness and self-control, out of respect for the relationship between the two brotherly nations, and in appreciation of the difficult stage that the Sudanese are going through as a result of the Brotherhood’s war on the people and the State. What a generous and authentic behavior!

When we talk about Yasser Al-Atta, we tend to not separate him from his leader Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan; who can suppress his reckless actions and curb his spitting tongue, but they are playing the game of exchanging roles, a game that the Sudanese Islamic Movement (the Brotherhood), which controls the leadership of the Army, has mastered.

Targeting the headquarters of the Emirati Ambassador in Khartoum will have consequences, as Abu Dhabi won’t remain silent about these repeated violations, and it has the right to respond in kind at the appropriate time and place, and this is an inherent right guaranteed by international norms and laws, especially since the UAE has many cards up its sleeve to apply pressure that it hasn’t used yet, out of understanding for the Sudanese people and their suffering. So what leverage do the “Brothers” of Port Sudan have against Abu Dhabi, other than this absurd operation, insults, and bringing out their innermost vileness and stench ?!

Personally, as I have previously mentioned, I know the reason for this brutal and cowardly act, which isn’t only inconsistent with the International Law, but also with the customs and traditions of the tolerant and generous Sudanese people. They want to send a message to their supporters who went out in false celebratory demonstrations the day before yesterday, after claiming that they had managed to liberate Al-Jili Oil Refinery, north of Bahri city, but the video clips broadcasted by the Rapid Support Forces from the scene showed a crushing defeat for the attacking (Kizan) forces, and their commander. In addition, almost all of his soldiers were killed, except for a few, and this fact dampened their false joy, hence the psychological compensation was a necessity for these frustrated people.

At this juncture, the (Brotherhood) operations room that runs the war decided to strike the headquarters of the Emirati diplomatic mission to tell themselves and their followers that they won by striking the headquarters of the party that supports the Rapid Support Forces -as they have always claimed without providing any tangible evidence, and they were rewarded with nothing but the world’s disregard and mockery- in order to restore some psychological balance for themselves first, and then for their popular bases, if they had any bases at all. The Sudanese people have long hated them beyond measure.

The Sudanese people, especially the elites, are very upset by this heinous act committed by Al-Burhan’s Air Force. While thousands of soldiers and mobilized members of the terrorist Brotherhood militias supported by Iranian weapons were crushed and killed at the entrances to Khartoum, as well as near Al-Jili Oil Refinery, and other scattered places across the capital.

The Brotherhood militia and their remnants fled the battle after the defeat, to target the headquarters of a diplomatic mission. Are there any other actions that indicate defeat and the psychology of the defeated more than such an operation?

Apologies to the sisterly United Arab Emirates, government and people. Victory to the Sudanese people over the remnants and terrorists, the tails of the Iranian mullahs.
