Al-Harith Lies “on Video”.. We have no knowledge

of Ahmed Haroun's whereabouts

Al-Harith Idriss, Sudan’s UN Ambassador, said that the Sudanese authorities have no knowledge of the location of “Ahmed Haroun,” the individual wanted by the International Criminal Court “ICC” for war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide in Darfur.

Al-Harith Idriss added before the Security Council: “Al-Bashir is facing trial in Sudan, and as for Ahmed Haroun, his whereabouts are unknown to us.”

The Police had previously approved the release of those wanted by the International Criminal Court, including the deposed Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir, from prison by direct orders from the leadership of the Sudanese Army.

Haroun appeared in video recordings calling for mobilization and fighting alongside the Army against the Rapid Support Forces.

International Justice is actively searching for Haroun, urging his arrest and promising to grant $5 million to anyone who aids in arresting the fugitive, Ahmed Haroun, or provides information about his whereabouts.

The persons wanted by the International Criminal Court are in areas controlled by the Army Forces, while Nafie Ali Nafie and Ali Karti, who are wanted by the Sudanese as well as the international authorities for crimes against humanity, fled to Türkiye.
