The National Observatory reveals the recruitment of children into the war

The National Observatory for Human Rights Violations – Sudan “TNOHRVS”, revealed that the Sudanese Army has recruited large numbers of children into its ranks to fight against the Rapid Support Forces in the ongoing war in Sudan since April 2023.

The National Observatory shared in a report published on its account on the “X” platform: “The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have flagrantly violated the Child Protection Act, International Law, and the Paris Principles on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict by recruiting numerous children in El-Fasher and Al-Meiram into the ongoing conflict with the Rapid Support Forces.”

The Observatory urged the Army to cease the recruitment and use of children in warfare. And called upon the International Organizations and Community to intervene immediately to halt this egregious violation.

The Observatory attached pictures and Military IDs of children who were forcibly recruited into the ranks of the Sudanese Army
