El Goney Hamdan: Designating the MB as a Terrorist Organization is a step towards a new Sudan
El-Goney Hamdan, a member of the Leadership Council of the Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasis), stated that the Muslim Brotherhood has invited nothing but bloodshed, corruption, division, and systematic destruction to Sudan. He believed that the US State Department’s decision to designate the group in Sudan as a “Terrorist Organization” is rather historic.
In a tweet on the (X) platform, Hamdan added that communities, families, and individuals in Sudan have suffered for numerous years as a result of what he described as the group’s policies and practices, emphasizing the necessity of achieving justice and normalizing a state where accountability prevails.
He indicated that this particular decision represents, in his words, a clear step towards refuting the Islamists’ claims, and brings the country closer to a new Sudan, affirming that the Sudanese people will keep this decision in mind.
