SPLM-N: 17 civilians killed in SAF bombing in the Nuba Mountains

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), led by Abdel Aziz Adam Al-Hilu, accused the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) of bombing areas under its control in the Nuba Mountains region of South Kordofan, which resulted in the tragic death of at least 17 civilians and the injury to dozens more.

The areas surrounding the city of Dilling in South Kordofan state are witnessing an escalating military conflict, as the Sudanese Army continues to bombard the state’s second-largest city with heavy artillery and drones, causing numerous casualties and destroying several service facilities.

In a statement, the (SPLM-N) shared, “In continuation of its crimes, targeting innocent civilians, the Sudanese Armed Forces killed at least 17 civilians, amongst whom were women and children, in an attack that targeted the Mandri Market in the town of Juld, which is a part of the Dilling district in South Kordofan.”
