The US Dollar Hits New Record High

Recently, the price of the US Dollar against the Sudanese Pound has surged in an unexpected manner, reaching a new record high on the parallel market.

For his part, a currency trader shared that the scarcity has led to an unprecedented price increase. Furthermore, the trader, who preferred to remain anonymous, added that the exchange rate has reached “3,970 Sudanese pounds” per dollar, and predicted a significant rise in the parallel market currency exchange rate over the next two days, given the ongoing war that has been raging since (April 2023).
