The state of Kassala forces 56,000 IDPs to evacuate

The de facto authorities in the state of Kassala, Eastern Sudan, announced the expulsion and evacuation of three camps -the aforementioned house (56,390 displaced persons) within the state’s jurisdiction.
Furthermore, according to the authorities, they would evacuate the camps west of the airport, Khashm al-Qirba camp, and the onion factory camp, therefore, the occupants of the camps were informed that they ought to seek rental housing options if they wished to remain in Kassala.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) previously shared that the number of displaced persons in Kassala state -as of last November was (56,390).
