Press Statement on the Attacks of the Terrorist Muslim Brotherhood’s Army on Displaced Persons in Feyo

In an incident that perfectly encapsulates the continuance of the Muslim Brotherhood’s criminal approach, perpetrated against Sudanese civilians; the terrorist group, their Army, and allies targeted a convoy on Friday, January 16th, 2026, using a drone belonging to the jihadist terrorists. The attack took place in the area of “Feyo,” south of Habila, in South Kordofan/Nuba Mountains region. This particular area is home to unarmed civilians who fled areas of military operations. Nevertheless, the Islamic Movement persisted in their pursuit even after those unarmed civilians fled the military zones, for no other reason than the latter’s refusal to be used as human shields by these terrorists.

In consequence, this bombing claimed the lives of four men, six children, and three women, in addition, dozens more were unfortunately injured. Mercy be upon the souls of those we have lost and speedy recovery to the wounded.

Regretfully, in the face of such violations -targeting unarmed Sudanese civilians even after they fled the fighting to safer areas; the world, the international community, and the region remain silent.

We, in the Sudan Founding Alliance, will continue to put forth diligent efforts to protect the Sudanese civilians and stand firmly against the schemes of this terrorist group and its criminal Army, for they aim to destroy Sudan and the Sudanese people who have rejected injustice, tyranny, and oppression, and who have risen up demanding freedom, peace, and justice.

The revolution continues.
