Military Expert: Daglo Delivers Comprehensive Strategic Speech, Placing His Opponents in a Difficult Position

The Military expert and retired Staff Maj. Gen. Dr. Mehdi Al-Amin described the statement issued by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Commander, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, as a carefully considered strategic move on both the military and political levels. He stated that it reflects the RSF leadership’s ability to navigate local, regional, and international developments, moreover, it serves to demonstrate a precise understanding of the core of the Sudanese crisis.
The military expert explained that the address wasn’t limited to announcing a humanitarian truce or a temporary ceasefire, but rather extended to present a comprehensive vision which reflects a deep understanding of the current reality and a discerning perspective. Furthermore, it emphasized key elements, including a cessation of hostilities, international monitoring, and the protection of civilians, whilst stressing that any sustainable solution to the crisis ought to adhere to military, political, and international standards.
In addition, Dr. Mehdi Al-Amin noted that the address demonstrated the discipline of the forces under Daglo’s command and highlighted their full compliance with international and UN resolutions. Which, Dr.Al-Amin asserted, grants the RSF leadership a strong sense of legitimacy in international forums and amplifies its credibility regionally as well as internationally.
According to Staff Maj. Gen. Mehdi Al-Amin (Retd) the address delivered clear and direct messages to local adversaries, as Daglo placed the responsibility for the continuation of the ongoing war on the side that refused to negotiate and clung to its intransigence, in a direct reference to the Sudanese Armed Forces leadership. Which serves to demonstrate Daglo’s superiority over Al-Burhan on both the political and military levels.
From a media and diplomatic perspective, the military expert considered the address to be a powerful blow to the adversaries’ arguments and the misleading propaganda circulated by established media outlets. He emphasized that it left no security or diplomatic gaps and placed the Rapid Support Forces leadership in a position of strength, bolstered by humanitarian and political credibility.
Furthermore, Dr. Mehdi Al-Amin pointed out that the address exerted diplomatic pressure on the Sudanese Army’s supporters, most notably Egypt, and demonstrated Daglo’s openness to the international community. He denied any connection to terrorist groups, whilst simultaneously discrediting local political opponents and weakening the hardlineleadership’s position. For ge stressed that humanitarian principles are indivisible and sustainable solutions to the crisis cannot be achieved without considering the humanitarian and political realities.
The military expert concluded his analysis by sharing that Daglo’s address represents a model of integrated strategic intelligence, which combines military power, political wisdom, and human awareness, as it effectively hinders the aspects of leverage and maneuvers, in addition to proving that conscious leadership is the true instrument for establishing peace and stability in the country.
