The National Commission Issues Arrest Warrants for Al Burhan, Al Atta, Minnawiand Jibril

The Independent National Commission of Inquiry into the events of El-Fasher issued arrest warrants on Monday for Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Yasser Al-Atta, Minni ArcuaMinnawi, Jibril Ibrahim, Mohamed Osman Youssef Kibir, and Osman Al-Khider, after their involvement in the events that took place in El Fasher was established. 

The Commission stated in a press conference held today in El Fasher that, in accordance with the Criminal Code and the Constitutional Decree of the President of the Presidential Council concerning combating terrorism, those involved in instigating the conflict and war in El Fasher have been identified. 

Furthermore, the Commission added that it has arrested (13 suspects) involved in alleged violations in El Fasher, and that it has interrogated a man known as “Abu Lulu” for the second time. Naturally, the National Commission shared in its statement that it will continue carrying out its investigation into the occurrence of violations.
