Daglo: Airports and drones launched from a neighboring country are a legitimate target for our forces

The head of the Presidential Council of the Peace and Unity Government, the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, warned of a neighboring country from which aircraft and drones are launched to carry out attacks on various areas in Darfur and Kordofan. He stated: “Airports and drones launched from a neighboring country are a legitimate target for our forces.”
He added, “Any aircraft from any airport in a neighboring country that is shot down or takes off from said airport, that particular airport will become a legitimate target for us.” He continued (listen -to me- carefully): “Any airport in a neighboring country from which an aircraft or drone takes off targeting our regions is a legitimate target for us.”
In a statement, yesterday, Tuesday, Daglo directed all his forces to head to the battlefields, stressing that “victory will be upon us, and soon.”
The head of the Peace Government’s Presidential Council declared their commitment to demanding an international investigation committee to investigate all the “massacres” committed since (April 15th, 2023), noting that “the crimes as well as the ethnic cleansing that has taken place will not go unpunished.” Furthermore, Daglo reiterated his commitment to the assignment of an international investigation committee, sharing that the latter demand cannot be waived.
In addition, he went on to emphasize that his forces will eradicate the cancer that has paralyzed the country for more than three decades, referring to the Islamic Movement, sharing, “Our people across Sudan ought to know: God willing, every person will be able to return to their homes, and our country will not rise until these criminals are gone.” He indicated that this is the only opportunity to remove that obstacle confronting the Sudanese people.
In his statement, Daglo affirmed that El-Fasher is open and that the roads are accessible to all citizens, even those being used as human shields. He added, “To the civilians and military personnel in El-Fasher: ‘The roads are open for you, and your brothers will welcome you.'”
In conclusion, the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces directed to attend to the citizens, their livelihoods, security, health, and education, stating that development, stability, health, and education are essential, even in times of war. He called on humanitarian organizations to put forth efforts to reach all the regions under their control in Darfur and Kordofan.
