RSF announces the downing of a Turkish drone in El Fasher

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced today, Tuesday that they had managed to successfully down a Turkish Akıncı drone over El-Fasher, North Darfur.
The Forces stated that the Turkish drone launched attacks on innocent civilians, that claimed the lives of more than (80 people) in the Bulbul Tembesko area, west of Nyala, South Darfur, in addition to killing dozens of others in the Al-Zurruq suburb of North Darfur.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Rapid Support Forces condemned the targeting of innocent civilians and emphasized that the Turkish drone attacks perpetrated by the “Army of the Terrorist Islamic Movement” constitute part of a broader scheme amounting to genocide and crimes of ethnic cleansing carried out by these groups against civilian communities in areas devoid of any military presence of the Rapid Support Forces.
They called on the international community, regional organizations, and human rights advocates to condemn these heinous massacres committed against innocent civilians in Darfur, which constitute a flagrant violation of International Law as well as the Geneva Conventions. Furthermore, the RSF statement urged impartial media outlets to shed light on the aforementioned crimes and expose the circumstances surrounding them.
