Tasis condemns the Turkish drone massacre in Al Zurruq, North Darfur

The Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasis) condemned the bombing of Al-Zurruq Market in North Darfur by Turkish Akıncı drones, which took place today, Thursday.
In a statement regarding Al-Zurruq Market massacre, the Alliance shared that, in continuation of its crimes against the people of Sudan, the terrorist Islamic Movement’s Army committed a heinous massacre today, Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, using Turkish-made Akıncı drones. The attack targeted innocent civilians in Al-Zurruq Market, North Darfur, killing and wounding dozens, most of whom were women and children.
Furthermore, the Sudan Founding Alliance explained -whilst condemning the aforementioned heinous crime, committed against innocent civilians in an area with no military presence; that the targeting of civilians is part of the terrorist Sudanese Armed Forces’ scheme to committ genocide and ethnic cleansing.
In its statement, (Tasis) called on the international community, regional organizations, and human rights bodies to condemn these heinous massacres committed against innocent people in Darfur and Kordofan, which constitute a full-fledged war crime and a flagrant violation of thrInternational Humanitarian Law.
In conclusion, the Alliance declared that it will not remain silent in the face of such grave crimes and that it will legally pursue the perpetrators as well as those involved in the aforementioned scheme, including the Turkish company (Baykar), which is majority-controlled by the Bayraktar family, where Lütfü Haluk Bayraktar serves as (CEO), whilst Selçuk Bayraktar chairs the board of directors.
