The Presidential Council’s Vice President meets with the UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy

 The Vice-President of the Presidential Council of the Republic of Sudan, Abdel Aziz Adam Al-Hilu, met today, Friday, in Nairobi, Kenya, with the UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy for Sudan, Ramtane Lamamra. At the request of the latter, the meeting aimed to discuss opportunities to end the wars as well as achieve comprehensive and just peace in Sudan.

The meeting was attended by members of the Presidential Council, including El-Tahir Abu Bakr Hajar; as well as Council member and Governor of Eastern Sudan Region, Dr. Mabrouk Mubarak Salim; in addition to Council member and Governor of South Kordofan/Nuba Mountains Region, JagodMakwar Marada.
