RSF downs Bayraktar drone in South Darfur (Photos and Video)

 The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced today, Thursday, the downing of a Turkish Bayraktar drone in the Mershing area of South Darfur state.

In a statement, the Rapid Support Forces shared that the Air Defense valiant RSF soldiers “Ashaws” were able to shoot down the Turkish drone in the area of Mershing.

The Air Defense Units of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) successfully shot down a Turkish-manufactured Akinci drone in the airspace over the Merching area in South Darfur.

Our forces affirm their complete readiness to confront any act of aggression or infiltration attempts by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), operating under the terrorist Islamic Movement and its allies, who persistently seek to terrorize the citizens and destabilize the region.

Our forces continue to maintain vigilance and monitor the ground to protect cities, villages, and the security of citizens. They will not tolerate any threat to the safety of the homeland or the lives of the innocent people.
