Tasabih Mubarak: Millions in Nyala award the government of Tasis legitimacy

Media personality, Tasabih Mubarak sparked commentary on social media in Sudan with her remarks, posting on her Facebook account in regards to the war in Sudan and the government of (Tasis).

Tasabih Mubarak stated that, “Quite simply, all the efforts to end the war in Sudan, which were thwarted by the Islamists (for their own narrow interests), were desperate attempts to avoid this scenario: ‘the division of legitimacy.’ The crowds that took to the streets in Nyala and the regions that will be governed by (Tasis); rallied around the previously announced measures, as the latter will constitute popular legitimacy and establish a new reality that will necessitate dealing with this government as an influential authority.”

She added that these crowds also refute the fabrications claiming that tge entirety of Sudan is rallied around the Islamic Movement’s Army. As the Sudanese people in the areas controlled by the Sudan Founding Alliance forces (the Rapid Support Forces, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North, the Revolutionary Front, in addition to other Armed Movements signed to become part of the Alliance) were forcibly separated from the rest on the psychological as well as service levels through a decision issued by Port Sudan, which punished them (the citizens) when it failed to achieve a decisive military victory.

Furthermore, Tasabih emphasized that today, there is not a single citizen in Nyala or the regions controlled by the Sudan Founding Alliance forces in the west who would seek help from the Islamists of the north to free them from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). She continued, “At this juncture, the equation is completely different. As these regions are psychologically separated from the rest of Sudan, even before the (2023) war. This is due to the jihadist war they endured throughout the years Sudan was ruled by Al-Bashir and the Islamists (along with their Army and leaders), as the latter waged the jihadist wars sometimes in the name of God, and other times in the name of Arabism, solely to subjugate the marginalized communities, which to this day, the Center represents nothing -to them- but a dark memory that didn’t exactly begin with the Central leadership igniting the wars in Darfur, burning entire villages, and raping women there, nor did it end with the ethnic cleansing that perpetuated racism, hatred, and the explosive barrels of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Air Force that burn these communities and their children every day to cinders.”

The media personality went on to share that the Sudan Founding Alliance’s government will seek to achieve peace and unity, as announced. She continued: “However, the societal rift and division that the Muslim Brotherhood has perpetuated in Sudan with this accursed war and their historical racist practices in these regions is a rift that cannot be easily mended. This government will face a major challenge, especially given the rhetoric of regionalism and hatred in Sudan compound with the absence of a comprehensive national discourse in Port Sudan, where the State is run via Facebook.”
