The RSF downs Bayraktar Akinci drone over Nyala in South Darfur

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced on Sunday that its Air Defense Forces in Nyala, South Darfur state, shot down Bayraktar Akinci aircraft after it flew over the city.
The Rapid Support Forces shared in a statement today, “The valiant RSF Air Defense soldiers managed to successfully shoot down a Bayraktar Akinci drone belonging to the terrorist Islamic Movement Army, in the airspace of Nyala, South Darfur state.”
In today’s statement, the RSF reaffirmed utmost readiness to counter any aerial threat and confront all hostile actions aimed at undermining the security and stability of civilians.
The Rapid Support Forces warned the “terrorist Islamic Movement Army and its affiliates” of the grave consequences of persisting in targeting innocent civilians and stressed that it wouldn’t hesitate to deliver a response across the strongholds of the terrorist Islamic Movement Army, as all of its military sites are legitimate targets and its within the capabilities of the Rapid Support Forces to access the aforementioned targets and destroy them.
