16 trucks carrying Humanitarian Aid bombed by SAF in Mellit

On Wednesday, drones that belong to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) bombed (16 trucks) carrying humanitarian aid supplied by the World Food Programme (WFP) in the city of Mellit, North Darfur state.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) confirmed that they had previously facilitated the trucks’ access to the area, however, the incessant bombing by the drones resulted in widespread fires.

Furthermore, a field commander affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces indicated that the bombing targeted the market of Mellit as well, which -in turn- caused civilian deaths and injuries.
