Tens of thousands in El Geneina support the Peace and Unity Government

On Monday, Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in El-Geneina, the capital of West Darfur, in support of the Peace and Unity Government.

The demonstrators chanted slogans in support of the Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasis), affirming their support for the program of establishing a new Sudan based on freedom, peace, and justice. In addition, they emphasized the necessity of establishing a Secular State based on citizenship and rights, the fair distribution of power and wealth amongst the Sudanese people, and the establishment of a State of law and transparency.

Leaders from the state’s Civil Administration and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) addressed the citizens’ demonstrations in El-Geneina, reiterating the Sudan Founding Alliance’s determination to build a Sudanese State on just and unbiased foundations.
