El Tahir Hajar calls for an immediate evacuation of El Fasher

The member of the Presidential Council and head of the Sudan Liberation Forces Alliance (SLFA), El-Tahir Abu Bakr Hajar, stated that his forces are deployed in all directions of El-Fasher and are prepared to secure safe corridors and provide full protection for anyone who decides to evacuate the city.
Hajar issued an urgent appeal to the residents of El-Fasher and its environs to evacuate the city and the areas of operations immediately, in light of what he described as a “dangerous deterioration” in the humanitarian and security situation, which makes the continued presence of civilians inside the city “a risk to their lives and safety.”
In a post on the (X) platform, the head of (SLFA) confirmed that his forces are deployed in all directions of El-Fasher and are prepared to secure safe corridors and provide full protection for anyone who decides to leave the city, indicating that these corridors will be secured until civilians reach their destinations, whether within North Darfur or to other states.
He stressed that “The primary mission of his forces at this critical juncture is to protect the dignity and lives of civilians and prevent others from using them as human shields” in a war he described as “being waged by Islamist forces and Armed Movements that exacted a price at the expense of innocent lives.” Hajar added, “We will not allow civilians to be victimized by interests and agendas that have nothing to do with them.”
The member of the Presidential Council concluded his message with an urgent appeal to the residents of El-Fasher to act quickly, emphasizing that “The safety of their lives, dignity, and property is the top priority.”
