Anas Adam: The Presidential Council’s formation is a lifeline and the beginning of Port Sudan Authority’s demise

Anas Adam, a member of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) delegation, stated that the announcement of the formation of the Presidential Council and the selection of a Prime Minister for the Sudan Founding Alliance’s government is a “milestone in the history of Sudan.” He considered the latest development to be a “lifeline for the marginalized Sudanese people from the hegemony of the old Sudan and the opportunistic elites.”
He added that this courageous step “puts the ‘Jalaba’ State project on the line and drives the last nail into the coffin of the Islamic Movement and the Port Sudan Authority,” emphasizing that a new phase has begun towards establishing a State of justice and citizenship.
Anas Adam concluded by extending greetings and congratulations to the Sudanese people, praising the spirit of change and the determination to build a new Sudan worthy of the sacrifices of its people.
