Widespread welcome for the formation of the Sudan Founding Alliance government

The Transitional Peace Government announced by the Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasis) yesterday, Saturday, was widely welcomed by political parties, civil society groups, and citizens in areas controlled by the Sudan Founding Alliance forces as well.

Political entities welcomed the Transitional Peace Government, describing it as an important stage in building a new Sudan based on justice and equality. Furthermore, they praised the representation of Sudan’s different regions in the Presidential Council.

Politicians and activists were quick to congratulate the Alliance on the formation of the government, considering it a pivotal moment between the new Sudan and the Sudan of war, hatred, and discrimination. They praised the democratic process that took place to select the Presidential Council representatives and the Prime Minister as well.

The Sudan Founding Alliance is expected to complete the formation -filling the vacancies- of the Peace and Unity Government, in addition to the roadmap for the new Sudan in the coming days.
