Media Statement

July 10th, 2025

Earlier this Thursday, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Air Defense successfully shot down an Akinci drone operated by the terrorist Islamic Movement militia, known as the so-called “Sudanese Armed Forces”, in the city of El Fasher in North Darfur, after conducting repeated indiscriminate bombings that targeted innocent civilians in Zamzam, Al-Kuma, and Mellit, striking vital infrastructure including hospitals, schools, and displacement camps.

Our forces affirm their full readiness to confront any aerial threats and warn the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) that hijacked by the Islamic Movement and its allied militias against continuing their attacks on innocent civilians.

We reiterate our firm commitment to end this war in a way that truly serves the aspirations of our people and permanently shuts the door on any attempt to revive the former regime or extend the influence of the terrorist Islamic Movement and the remnants of the old state. We state clearly: the former regime will never return—neither now nor in the future. The Sudanese people have moved beyond that chapter for good.

We also reaffirm our full commitment to build a new Sudanese state founded on the principles of freedom, equality, justice, and peace, a state that guarantees the rights and dignity of all the peoples of Sudan.

Mercy and forgiveness be upon our righteous martyrs.
