Hatem El Yas: The ICC will prosecute these people (…) for committing war crimes in Sudan

Lawyer, human rights defender, and prominent leader in the Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasees), Hatem El-Yas, shared that he expects the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue arrest warrants for Abuagla Keikal, the Commander of “Sudan Shield” militia, and Almusbah Abuzaid Talha,, the leader of the terrorist group “Al-Bara Ibn Malik;” along with a number of General Intelligence Service leaders for their involvement in committing unprecedented violations and crimes in Al-Jazeera state, Central Sudan.
Lawyer Hatem El-Yas stated in an interview with Al-Tanweer that the Sudan Founding Alliance represents a pivotal stage in Sudan’s transitional process and is a cornerstone in the path of emerging from the cycle of historical and successive crises that began with Sudan’s independence in (1956).
