The Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, addressed thousands of his troops in the field regarding several important issues, which included his forces’ control of the border “Triangle” area, linking Sudan, Libya and Egypt. He emphasized that his forces’ control of the area is for the purpose of protection, security, as well as confronting the issues of human trafficking, illegal migration and smuggling, in addition to combating terrorism. The RSF Commander noted that the Rapid Support Forces have no issues with neighboring countries.
