Fierce battles erupt in Babanusa As the Rapid Support Forces’ liberation of the 22nd Division becomes imminent

Fierce battles erupted between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), Supported by its militias on Friday around the 22nd Division in Babanusa. The Rapid Support Forces advanced in the area, seizing control of the 189th Brigade headquarters in Babanusa as well as a number of other locations, in addition the RSF managed to impose a strict siege on the 22nd Division headquarters in Babanusa.

Field sources told (Assayha) that the Rapid Support Forces achieved a major victory over the Sudanese Army and its militias in Babanusa, breaching the 22nd Division’s defenses and inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment.

According to the sources, the battles are still ongoing after the Sudanese Army and its militias fled, taking refuge in the trenches from the massive attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces.
