An officer caught in a compromised position

A circulating video clip documented an incident where a high-ranking officer in the regular forces, the Commander of a group known as the “mobilized fighters,” was engaging in an indecent act with the mother of two members of the force he commands in a Sudanese region.

Activists on social media circulated the video, drawing sarcastic comments, pointing to the deception practiced when mobilizing the Sudanese youth and the promise -which they described as a convincing lie- made to the youth of paradise and being granted an opportunity to defend their land and honor.

Activist Mujahid Youssef said via his account on the (X) platform: “They deceived the youth with promises of paradise and the opportunity to defend their land and honor, while they are the party responsible for carrying out said violations against the land and honor of the mothers of the mobilized fighters themselves, in the illusion of the so-called war of dignity.”

Another added, “O, Islamists, this is simply unreasonable. You kill people’s children with mobilization and then engage in sexual activities with their mothers. The next time someone proudly tells you, ‘I’m part of the mobilization,’ you ought to understand, if he’s a mobilized fighter, it probably means that his mother is also mobilized, serving in a different axis of the war of dignity.”

An activist commented sarcastically on the circulating video, saying, “I had no idea that the famous Islamist anthem, ‘Mother, don’t be afraid,’ from the War in South Sudan to the ongoing April War, meant violating the mothers of martyrs, mobilized fighters, and the Sudanese people who were deceived by the Islamist slogans.”
