Sumoud announces the approval of a political vision document to end wars

and establish the State

The Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces (Sumoud), headed by the former Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok, announced on Sunday its approval of the “Political Vision to End the Wars, Restore the Revolution, and Establish a State.”

The Alliance shared in a press statement that its components had agreed on a new political vision that will be presented to the public on Monday, June 16th.

The document was sent to a number of political blocs and organizations, along with letters inviting them to discuss the vision with the Sumoud Alliance. Additionally, the political vision document will also be sent to women’s and youth groups as well as all Sudanese civil forces.

The Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces explained in the statement about presenting its vision to the Sudanese people, “hoping it will be discussed and welcoming any critical comments. This reaffirms the Alliance’s commitment to contributing to the formation of the broadest civil movement to end the war and agree on a common national project that reflects the aspirations of the Sudanese people.”
