Iran and the Islamic Movement in Sudan: The duality of dictatorship and criminality!

Ibrahim Matar
The relationship between the Iranian mullahs and the murderous jurists of the Sudanese Islamic Movement is rather strange and confusing, especially when we consider the thorny and divided “Sunni-Shiite” relations between “Rafidah” and “Nawasib.” Their hostility toward each other was often intense, as what divides them is far greater than what unites them. Furthermore, the pretext of the alleged Arab bond between the Brotherhood of Satan and the Persian mullahs’ State was nullified.
Nevertheless, and despite all the above, the two sides have come to a consensus in regards to certain crimes, they went as far as to embellish said crimes for each other, not the first of which is, the systematic torture in secret detention centers, and not the last of which is the Brotherhood Army’s use of internationally prohibited chemical weapons against innocent civilians.
The late Dr. Mansour Khalid, in the second part of his book, “The Sudanese Elite and the Addiction to Failure,” reveals that the Brotherhood-affiliated university professor, Nafie Ali Nafie, had deceived his superiors into believing that he was traveling to further his studies in agriculture, instead, he spent two full years studying torture in Iran.
According to the story, after the terrorist group seized power in Sudan -at dawn- on (June 30th, 1989), the Iranian Supreme Leader’s Republic found itself strengthened after ten years of rule, established by spears, and forcibly confined Iranian society to the cloak of a turbaned cleric. The Brotherhood’s henchmen welcomed the idea and sought to draw closer to Iran, especially given the slogans raised by the renegade group in its confrontation with the world at the time.
There is no need to ask, “What are the deep jurisprudential differences between the two sects?” Because, the truth of the matter is now clearer than the sun at high noon, as the Brotherhood of Satan’s least concern is religion. They rushed to establish Shiite Husayniyas in the capital, Khartoum, and in a number of states. They were content with thousands of Sudanese converting to Shiism, as long as they were able to plunder their wealth by force, or kill them if they attempted to resist, as necessity called for their elimination.
As is the custom of the brokers of the Islamic Movement in Sudan, they have made a habit of bargaining with the world over the lives and souls of the Sudanese people, and even in this, they are ascetics. You don’t necessarily need evidence to believe such claims, dear reader, because you’ve probably heard one of those stories where a Brotherhood-affiliated official said, “How much of that is my right?” thus wasting the Sudanese people’s rare opportunity to alleviate their suffering. Or you’ve watched that shameful clip in which the deposed President, Al-Bashir, begs the administration of a charitable hospital in Soba to impose fees on the unlucky Sudanese heart patients, whom foreigners have shown compassion for. However, the murderous Brotherhood-affiliated Field Marshal begrudged them free treatment, being concerned -solely- about how to profit from their suffering. May Allah disgrace him, a ruler who feeds on the plight of his people and their flesh.
In contrast, the Iranian mullahs —for years— supported the dictatorship of the Islamic Movement, supplying it with both legal and illegal weapons, especially chemical weapons, which the Brotherhood used extensively in the Nuba Mountains and Blue Nile regions. The result of this marriage of convenience between the mullahs and the Brotherhood of Satan was that the Sudanese people in those regions suffered greatly. No one spoke about the civilian victims at the time, and no one cared about their deaths or valued their lives.
Throughout the ongoing April war, Iran extended its hand to the killers of the Sudanese people, supplying them with advanced drones and internationally prohibited chemical weapons, which the Brotherhood of Satan hasn’t hesitated to use to target water sources and livestock herds, poison large tankers in residential neighborhoods, and commit other crimes that have claimed the lives of dozens of innocent Sudanese people, from Hilaliya and Salha to the states of Kordofan and Darfur.
The blame for the lava that has fallen on Sudanese homes and hospitals goes to the mullahs’ regime in Iran, which is currently facing serious blows that could completely destroy -if not weaken- the regime, rendering it to a state where it poses no threat to anyone.
Just as the killing of Lebanon’s devil, Hassan Nasrallah, was a cause for celebration amongst Syrians after he slaughtered their children and women under the slogan “so that Zainab will not be taken captive again,” here are the painful Israeli strikes slapping the face of the turbaned Wali Allah in Iran, exacting retribution for the Sudanese blood spilled in Al-Dibaibat, Al-Khawi, Al-Hamadi, Al-Jazeera, and Khartoum Bahri. Hence, the victims feel relieved, reassured that they have been spared the evils of Iranian support for the murderous jurists of the end times in Sudan.
The liberation war in Sudan will be prolonged, and ISIS will seek to cling to power without any consideration, perhaps claiming more lives and shedding more blood. Certainly, however, their uprooting from Sudanese soil is imminent, and its the inevitable end of all the atrocities and destruction they have caused. May Allah’s disgrace be upon the Brotherhood of Satan.
