The Rapid Support Forces enter Jebel al-‘Uweinat

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced that they had successfully managed to liberate the Kassu area within the Jebel al-‘Uweinat range on the Sudanese-Libyan-Egyptian border. They added that their forces were advancing towards the city of Ad-Dabbah, in the Northern state.

Videos circulating online showed RSF soldiers driving four-wheeled vehicles in the Jabal Kassu area within the famous Jebel al-‘Uweinat range, confirming the liberation of the area from the control of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Armed Movements. The RSF explained that, “SAF and its allied Armed Movements fled from Kassu… however, we will pursue them all the way to Ad-Dabbah.”
