RSF defeats SAF in Kordofan, liberating Al Hammadi and Kazgil, and advancing towards Al Obeid
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced that they had managed to liberate the areas of Al-Hammadi and Kazgil, south of the strategically significant city of Al-Obeid, and stated that their forces were continuing their advance towards the strongholds of what they described as the terrorist Islamic Movement Army.
In a statement, the Rapid Support Forces added that this significant liberation is a part of the RSF’s coordinated military strategy, designed to broaden the scope of operational flexibility in preparation for advancement towards the enemy’s strongholds and the positions of its terrorist militias.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have reinforced their ongoing string of battlefield victories, advancing toward the strongholds of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and their allied terrorist Islamic Movement. In a significant development, they secured a new triumph by liberating the areas of Al-Hammadi and Kazegil, south of the strategically important city of El-Obeid.
This significant liberation is a part of our forces coordinated military strategy, designed to broaden the scope of operational flexibility in preparation for advancing toward the enemy’s strongholds and the positions of its terrorist militias.
As ever, in a single day, our forces delivered a fifth consecutive defeat to the SAF and their terrorist Islamic Movement and its mercenary militias, inflicting significant casualties. Our forces also captured large quantities of weapons and military equipment, currently undergoing inventory and documentation, while dozens of mercenaries fled under the strong strikes.
We reaffirm that our forces have entered an advanced phase in the decisive confrontation with the terrorist SAF, moving with steadfast confidence toward the full liberation of the country and the realization of justice for the long-suffering masses of the marginalized people, who have endured decades of injustice and exclusion.
