President Forever… Trump sparks controversy with satirical video

The US President, Donald Trump posted a doctored video showing him winning an infinite number of presidential terms. He even went further when he concluded the video with the phrase “Trump Forever.”
Previously, Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire to remain in the White House for a third term, however, a recent video he posted showed dreams that went much further.
In the “satirical” video he posted on his platform, Truth Social, the US President’s name appears on the cover of Time magazine, along with the words “Trump 2024,” his most recent campaign slogan, which continued counting upwards in years, to finish with “Trump Forever.”
The concept of seeking to secure a third term in the White House has remained vaguely related in Trump’s statements. He once stated that he was seeking “constitutional ways” to circumvent the Twenty-Second Amendment to the Constitution, which bars any US President from serving more than two terms.
In a previous interview with (NBC), Trump claimed that “many Americans” want him to run for a third term, however, he added that he’s more focused at the moment on his “ongoing” second term.
Nevertheless, Trump kept revisiting the idea of a third term, once sharing, “I’m not kidding,” imposing a serious tone in relation to the idea, which he believed the timing is “too early to consider.”
Last April, he -once again- cast doubt on his seriousness in seeking a third term when his online store launched “Trump 2028” merch, the year of the next presidential election.
Amending the US Constitution to allow a third presidential term requires a two-thirds majority in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The amendment also requires ratification by at least (38 of the 50) US states, another slim possibility.
Despite the 78-year-old President’s declining popularity in recent polls, he has recently pursued “eternal” dreams.
