RSF announces the liberation of Al Khawi and the crushing of Al Sayyad Division

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced in a statement the liberation of the city of Al-Khawi in West Kordofan state, sharing that they had achieved a decisive victory over the “mercenaries of the Armed Movements and the Sudanese Army operating under the terrorist Islamic Movement” following a battle they described as heroic, during which they crushed “Al-Sayyad Division.”

The statement added: “The courageous RSF men have written a new epic that will be added to their glorious victories, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in both personnel -amounting to more than a thousand- and equipment. Our forces have successfully seized hundreds of vehicles and heavy weapons, currently being counted.”

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) achieved a decisive victory by establishing full control over the city of Al-Khoei in West Kordofan State, following a heroic battle in which they crushed the mercenaries of the armed movements and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), operating under the terrorist Islamic Movement. They completely annihilated the so-called “Al-Sayad Division”, one of the arms of terrorism that had deluded itself into believing it could withstand the resolve of our forces.

The courageous RSF men have written a new epic that will be added to their glorious victories, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in both personnel and equipment. Our forces have successfully seized hundreds of vehicles and heavy weapons, currently being counted, while operations continue to pursue the fleeing remnants of the enemy, including their commanders who drove their soldiers into confrontation only to abandon them and escape. The pursuit of their shattered remnants outside the city continues with unrelenting determination and invincibleness.

The liberation of Al-Khoei area marks a strategic step that paves the way for our forces to advance steadily toward the city of El-Obeid and beyond, as part of a well-established plan to eradicate the strongholds of terrorism and its mercenaries from every inch of the homeland.

Our forces affirm that the battle continues on all fronts, and that the fate awaiting the SAF militias and Islamic Movement and the mercenaries of the armed movements is complete annihilation. With unrelenting determination, our forces will press forward until the final strongholds of terrorism are destroyed and the terrorist regime is fully uprooted.
