Hemedti… What’s between you and the Almighty?

Moneim Suleiman

Because Abuagla Keikal, the Commander of the so-called “Sudan Shield” militia, which he -along with his forces- are no more than a creation of the Intelligence Service and a pure product of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF). However, its a cheap, shoddy product, manufactured in haste, and inserted as a “spy” within the Rapid Support Forces’ ranks until -said product- gained the trust of the Rapid Support Forces Commander. Abuagla Keikal fled then, announcing his withdrawal from the Rapid Support Forces after the mission was completed, and returned to his “maker.” For this particular reason, yesterday, the Commander-in-Chief of  the  Sudanese Army made a bold attempt to polish his image in the media.

He scattered his quiver of journalists before him, choosing the most vile, immoral, and contemptible -koz- amongst them all, and he proceeded to throw them Keikal’s way. They appeared before the latter, armed with all the necessary “polishing” tools. Nonetheless, God has soldiers.

During the meeting, Keikal, a simple Bedouin and bandit, demonstrated that he still possesses his “sound instincts” and nature. He toppled the media plan and detonated it with a thunderous bang, shattering the Islamists’ narrative about the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo (Hemedti), for which they had spent vast sums and put forth diligent efforts into feeding the intensive media propaganda. This cost enormous sums and even more time, with Al-Jazeera taking advantage of its time at the expense of the “Muslim Brotherhood in Gaza.”

Then the leader of the “Sudan Shield” militia proceeded (even if he didn’t intend to) praise the RSF Commander, at length, and describing him in a manner his subordinates didn’t want, as said subordinates intended the former commander to disparage the latter.

The man jumped to defend Hemedti in a manner that some rightly described as surpassing what the Rapid Support Forces’ media, Hemedti’sAdvisors, and even his entire Advisory Council had done. Keikal had struck a blow to the “death of Hemedti” narrative, killing it forever.

Keikal not only confirmed that Hemedti was alive and well, but also added that he hadn’t suffered any injuries throughout the war, now in its third year, and that his apparent thinness was due to his continuous fasting since the Islamic Movement militias and the Sudanese Army leadership launched the war against him. Which, in and of itself, is an indication of his piety, devotion, and fear of God.

Keikal added that Hemedti remained on the battlefield (Khartoum), personally leading his forces, and only left it once, for two weeks, to receive medical treatment because he had been suffering from a stomach ailment for a number of years.

Keikal didn’t stop there, but went on to praise the man, listing his positive qualities, generosity, and good morals. He stated, “When we would tell him about the violations committed by the Rapid Support Forces, he would cry.” “His tears would flow, but he would refrain from commenting.”

The man was right. This is the Hemedti I knew from a place closer to where Keikal knew him: manliness, chivalry, courage, and discernment are innate qualities that cannot be altered by war or peace.

You may disagree with him politically or militarily, but you will certainly not disagree with his nobility, generosity, and noble character.

Keikal shared that Hemedti remained in the suburbs of Khartoum-2 throughout the years of war, until he finally left last February, after the Sudanese Army crossed the Soba Bridge, i.e., after the Rapid Support Forces withdrew from Khartoum.

What kind of courage and bravery is this? While the Sudanese Army leaders who are now babbling in Port Sudan fled, threatening politicians and defenseless civilians, the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces remained amongst his soldiers and forces, fighting in Khartoum until the last moment before the tactical withdrawal.

Indeed, according to Keikal, Hemedti personally managed every detail of the war, monitoring any possibility of a lack his forces might be faced with and ensuring their supply on an hourly basis.

Abuagla Keikal not only destroyed the NCP’s (Al-Kizan) narrative about Hemedti, but also shattered the image they had promoted of him since the first day of the war, that he was a murderer, a violator, and a butcher. This image, which the religious fanatics had spent precious and valuable effort to inculcate in the minds of the people, was undermined and annihilated in a single press conference.

At this juncture, the truth has been revealed, falsehood has been vanquished, and the facts have emerged fresh, tender, and blooming. The Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) didn’t die, nor was he resurrected as (the walking dead)—God forbid— and his repeated appearances weren’t merely a ghost fabricated by artificial intelligence. Rather, he personally commanded his forces from the heart of Khartoum, and didn’t flee from the battlefield as the Sudanese Army Commanders and the terrorist Kizani militia leaders, such as Ali Karti, Ahmed Haroun, and their cohorts, did. He didn’t condone any of the violations committed by some of his soldiers, but rather shed tears of sorrow when he heard about them.

At this moment in time, following Keikal’saccount and testimony —a testimony issued by a man who left the RSF, betrayed it, fought it, and is now battling against it— what do the lying, slanderous Kizani leaders have to say about this? What do they have to say about their filthy narrative, their rotten, despicable media, their lies to the Sudanese people, waging war against them, and forcibly displacing them from their homes for the sake of worldly power, worthless in the sight of the Almighty, the Omnipotent, Him, who exposes liars, the Inflicter of Retribution, who makes traitors, swindlers, and all others speak, for He is All-Powerful?

The Almighty has made “Keikal” speak, enabling him to do justice to his former leader when he least expects it. Those who succeed him will speak, testifying and telling the truth to history. Then Al-Kizan (NCP) won’t know which way to turn.

Be well. You are the knight, and others are mere distortions.
