Kizani businessmen withdraw from the UAE… and global markets collapse!

Ali Ahmed
Sudanese investors withdraw from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) markets in solidarity with the Port Sudan Authority. Moreover, (UAE) stocks decline in global markets amidst Wall Street concerns. The S&P Gulf index declines. Morgan Stanley refrains from making any comments in anticipation of a supposed speech by Lt. Gen. Yasser Al-Atta. Furthermore, theDow Jones index declines!
Truly, the worst of disasters surprisingly invoke laughter.
Since yesterday, I’ve been following a campaign of posts on social media, in which obscure figures, identifying themselves as Sudanese entrepreneurs, men and women, announce that they have decided to shut down their businesses and liquidate their assets in the (UAE), in solidarity with their fledging Burhani-led Kizanigovernment, which has declared an all-out war on the (UAE), primarily an economic war. My heart goes out to Emirati citizens, who will return to the era of their forefathers, diving to the depths of the sea in search of pearls and coral, while lamenting the era of Al-Burhan and Al-Kizan (NCP)!
The Muslim Brotherhood group, which controls the Port Sudan Authority, has mobilized some of its cadres and “social incubators” residing in the (UAE), presenting themselves as entrepreneurs and investors who own global companies spanning continents. Anyone who has lived or lives in the UAE is well aware of the investment climate there: generous facilities, well-thought-out benefits, and streamlined administrative procedures aimed at creating an environment attractive to genuine investors, not those with fictitious commercial licenses.
This is precisely why the (UAE) has become one of the top three global destinations for investment, and also a favorite destination for the world’s wealthiest figures, due to its exceptional security, safety, and ability to manage diversity. This particular avenue is one we have failed to manage with satisfactory results, as we continue to fight in the swamp of backwardness and ignorance, over issues taught to schoolchildren in Abu Dhabi schools about ancient history, under the title “The Basus War.”
On a whim, I decided to search for information regarding the “leaders” of this naive Kizani campaign, those who impersonate the title of entrepreneurs, and they didn’t disappoint. I found myself faced with businessmen and women without businesses, possessing only licenses to operate them! Along with some women with no connection to the (UAE) market, they sell marginal Sudanese products with a folkloric and traditional flavor that is consumed only by Sudanese men and women. The majority of these products are raw natural products, with no significant added value that would qualify them for marketing outside the community.
Then I went on to dig further for information regarding the noisiest women in yesterday’s campaign, and found a woman selling Sudanese aromatic products used for clandestine massage between man and wife. These products are based on propaganda and popular myths, circulated by simple men and women as sexual stimulants! In addition, there are pungent, nose-piercing, inexpensive feminine aromatic products called “khumra,” used only by the most conservative Sudanese women who aren’t looking for marriage!
With such vulgarity, they want to undermine the UAE’s economy?!
Oh, how utterly miserable.
