Successive airstrikes on Port Sudan and targeting Suakin Port

For the fifth consecutive day, drones bombed Suakin Port in the Red Sea, hours after launching airstrikes early in the morning on several sites, resulting in a significant level of destruction to the Air Force Academy, the headquarters of the Sovereignty Council, and the headquarters of Sudanese Armed Forces’ Commander-in-Chief, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.
Drone attacks continued on several military sites in the Red Sea state, leading some diplomatic missions to withdraw their staff and some countries to evacuate their nationals from Sudan.
Al-Burhan has been holed up in Port Sudan, a city he chose as an alternative capital to Khartoum, since escaping the siege of the Military’s General Command Headquarters in Central Khartoum.
