The statement shared that: “Members of the Sudanese Armed Forces operating under the Islamic Movement, along with the terrorist militias of the so-called “Al-Bara bin Malik Brigades,” deliberately committed unspeakable atrocities, slaughtering entire families, including women, the elderly, and children in cold blood, solely on the basis of tribal and geographic identity.”
The Rapid Support Forces mentioned in their statement that the crime that took place in the village of Allouba wasn’t an isolated incident, adding, “Rather, it’s a systematic and coordinated operation, executed with calculated military planning, shielded by political cover and met with official silence. Media Statement
April 17th, 2025
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) strongly condemn the heinous massacre committed on the morning of Sunday, April 13, 2025, targeting the members of the Al-Hawazma tribe in the village of (Allouba), located south of the city of El-Obeid which was carried out by the terrorist Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the brigades of the extremist Islamic movement, constituting in a full-fledged crime of genocide.
This crime, which resulted in the shedding of unarmed civilian blood, reflects a dangerous and escalating strategy aimed at dismantling the nation’s social fabric through ethnic cleansing, tribal conflicts, and the systematic fragmentation of society along ethnic lines.
While we express our firm and unconditional solidarity with the people of al- Hawazma tribe, we assert that true justice can only be attained by holding all perpetrators and their accomplices fully accountable.
Members of the Sudanese Armed Forces operating under the Islamic Movement, along with the terrorist militias of the so-called “Al-Bara bin Malik Brigades,” deliberately committed unspeakable atrocities, slaughtering entire families, including women, the elderly, and children in cold blood, solely on the basis of tribal and geographic identity. This was not an isolated incident, but a systematic and coordinated operation, executed with calculated military planning, shielded by political cover and met with official silence. These actions reaffirm that what is happening in Sudan today is nothing less than a new chapter of ethnic cleansing and mass extermination.
While the RSF condemns these heinous acts, it simultaneously holds the criminal al-Burhan and his allied militias fully accountable for the Alouba massacre. We consider this atrocity as both a war crime and a crime against humanity that is not subject to any statute of limitations.
We reaffirm our full solidarity with our people and all victims of systematic violence, and we call upon all segments of Sudanese society to unite in confronting the agenda of division and civil strife.
We call on the international community and human rights organizations to fulfill their responsibilities towards what is happening in Sudan and to abandon the policy of suspicious silence and double standards in responding to humanitarian catastrophes.
In conclusion, we renew our pledge to our people: we will remain committed to the principles of justice, freedom, and human dignity. We will continue to stand against all those whose hands are stained with the blood of innocents regardless of their identity or place.
Mercy and forgiveness be upon our righteous martyrs.
