Al Hadi Idris reveals secrets related to Minnawi and RSF meetings in Paris and Addis Ababa

Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, a leader in the Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasees) and head of the Sudan Liberation Movement-Transitional Council (SLM-TC), revealed information regarding a meeting between Minni Arcua Minnawi and the Rapid Support Forces leaders. Idris stated that Minnawi attempted to strike a deal with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) through the aforementioned meeting, to declare his support for them in the ongoing war.

He added, in an interview with Al-Jazeera, that Minnawi had recently traveled to the French capital, Paris, and met with one of the Rapid Support Forces leaders there. The former spoke with 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo and his second-in-command, Lt. Gen. Abdel Rahim Daglo, in an effort to conclude a satisfactory deal, however, no agreement was reached between the parties.

The head of the (SLM-TC) confirmed that the Rapid Support Forces evacuated Minnawi, Jibril, and Agar from Khartoum during the war.

He shared, “Minnawi has recently been in contact with the Rapid Support Forces regarding his financial gains, and a meeting was held in Addis Ababa in this regard.”
