RSF impose a siege on El Fasher and evacuate hundreds of civilians

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) alongside allied Movements have imposed a siege on El-Fasher, the last remaining Military Division under the control of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in Darfur.

The Rapid Support Forces and Armed Movements preparing to liberate El-Fasher postponed their attack on the headquarters of the Sixth Infantry Division in the city in order to evacuate civilians and issue a call for citizens to evacuate conflict zones.

Hundreds of citizens responded to the call to evacuate El-Fasher. Videos showed members of the Rapid Support Forces and allied Movements welcoming those fleeing the conflict and providing humanitarian services to the civilians escaping the military confrontations in El-Fasher.
