The Deputy Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Lt. Gen. Abdel Rahim Hamdan Daglo, announced on Wednesday the cessation of negotiations with the Islamists, a general mobilization to recruit one million soldiers, and the transfer of the war against the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and its battalions -which he described as terrorist bloodsuckers- to the north of the country. He stated, “The next battle will take place in the Northern region of the country.”

Daglo stated during a speech at the graduation ceremony of a new military batch of (20,000 soldiers), that “Today, a new war with Al-Kizan begins.”

The RSF Deputy Commander appeared in a video clip addressing the graduates of the new military batch, saying, “Today, the recruitment of one million soldiers is announced, starting with the (20,000) soldiers present today.”

He added, “We have a strategic reserve of soldiers. A million soldiers are ready to fight to the end.” He explained that the Rapid Support Forces extended their hand in peace and realized that the Islamists (Al-Kizan) didn’t want peace, hence, the Forces opted to close the door to dialogue after the failure of (Jeddah, Manama, and Geneva) negotiations. He emphasized that his forces would liberate Shendi, Atbara, Port Sudan, Qanadtu, and Dongola, or they would be buried. Daglo indicated that he would personally lead the force moving to liberate Shendi.

During his address, Lt. Gen. Daglo shared, “We were mistaken. We failed to recognize where the battlefield ought to be, however, now we know. The Northern and the Nile River states are the battlegrounds.”

Abdel Rahim Hamdan Daglo went on to state that, We want the “million soldiers” to drink from the Nile, and we will be in the front lines leading the valiant RSF soldiers (Al-Ashaws) in any battle. He added, “We have cut the reins and recruited a million soldiers in the battles for complete liberation.” He emphasized that his forces were able to neutralize the aircrafts and drones, reiterating that, “The battle will be man to man.”
