The Sudanese Peace Government is preparing to issue passports to its citizens

Dr. Mustafa Mohamed Ibrahim, Advisor to the Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, announced the completion of “all technical arrangements” to issue passports to citizens of the “Peace Government” that the Rapid Support Forces along with a group of political forces and Armed Movements intend to announce soon.
Ibrahim wrote on his page on the (X) platform: “All technical arrangements, including devices, software, and technical cadres, have been prepared for the issuance of passports to citizens of the Peace Government.”
“The state in which this will take place has been determined, and offices to issue the new passport will be established in a number of Arab, African, and European countries,” revealing that, “burgundy will be the color of our government’s passport,” according to the Advisor.
Mustafa Ibrahim had confirmed in previous statements that the goal of the new government is to “provide security and fundamental services to citizens who suffer from the daily tensions resulting from the ongoing armed conflicts.”
On the 4th of March, the political and military forces that are part of the Sudan Founding Alliance (Tasees) signed the Transitional Constitution of Sudan for the year (2025) in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
This development comes days after the agreement on the Political Charter to form the Government of Peace and Unity in the country, which was signed by the same forces in the Kenyan capital.
