Under orders from SAF’s Commander in Chief 3,000 South Sudanese citizens were forcibly deported

The Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, issued a decision to forcibly deport South Sudanese citizens to their country.
The Port Sudan Authority arrested approximately (3,000) South Sudanese citizens in Al-Jazeera state and accompanied them to the Joda border crossing between the Republic of Sudan and South Sudan.
Humanitarian and human rights organizations condemned the large-scale heinous massacre that was carried out on (January 12th) by elements of the Sudanese Army against (the Canabi residents), as the former callously burned down villages and slaughtered civilians on ethnic and regional grounds.
