Osama Saeed: The expected government will contend with Port Sudan in assets and resources of oil and gold
Governed by a temporary Transitional Constitution and a Legislative Council

The leader in the Coordination-body of the Democratic and Civil Forces (Tagadom) – the official Spokesperson for the Revolutionary Front, Osama Saeed, revealed information regarding the features of the founding charter expected to be signed, heralding the birth of the government of peace and national unity, announcing that it constitutes a major political event in the history of Sudan.
Saeed stated in an interview with (Sina) Agency on the (X) platform, that the founding charter of the expected government is available to all political and civil forces, and will be signed during this month (February), indicating that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) will sign it as a party on the ground where the government is established and carries out its executive duties to fill the significant void and provide services to citizens in these areas.
He explained that the founding declaration includes a set of goals and details the reasons and motives for the political necessity to form the government of national unity, most notably of which is achieving peace and hindering the implementation of the division project led by the Islamic Movement and the National Congress Party – according to his expression.
Osama Saeed believed that the declaration would satisfy the Sudanese people, adding that its main objectives were to stop the war and end all wars across the Sudanese territory according to general principles based on the unity of Sudan and building a democratic State based on equal citizenship, in addition to recognizing diversity with the adoption of federalism as a system of government, along with establishing and building a single professional national army, as well as police and security agencies with no affiliation to any ideological loyalty.
The official Spokesperson for the Revolutionary Front mentioned that the founding declaration encompassed all previous charters and constitutions in Sudan, drawing lessons and learning from the mistakes made along the State’s path. He indicated that the expected government is governed by a temporary transitional constitution under which a legislative council (the National Assembly) in addition to a Sovereign and executive levels will be established.
Regarding the subject of naming the prime minister and ministers, Saeed shared that it will be agreed upon on a later date by the political and civil forces that will sign the declaration. However, he went on to confirm that the formation will include the entirety of the Sudanese and societal spectrum to serve as a mirror through which everyone can see their fair participation in the legislative and executive authorities.
The leader in the Coordination-body of the Democratic and Civil Forces (Tagadom) added that the government will put forth diligent efforts -promptly- upon its formation, in order to accomplish tasks and priorities, most notably of which is; protecting citizens, developing police, prosecution and court departments, as well as imposing the authority’s prestige. He indicated that committees have been studying and discussing the matter in its entirety, pointing out that they aim to restore legitimacy and the revolutionary government, so that the authority’s structures will follow the same pattern during the democratic transition era.
