Hamdok describes SAF massacres in Al Jazeera state as Horrific
Former Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok described the ongoing massacres carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in Al-Jazeera state as “Horrific”, expressing his strong condemnation of the ongoing violations and massacres against the Sudanese in Al-Jazeera state.
Hamdok reiterated in a post on the (X) platform that the Sudanese people have been subjected to these massacres for more than three decades, in refrence to the regime of ousted President Omar al-Bashir.
He called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in protecting civilians from the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), as the latter continues to commit “The most heinous massacres” against the people.
Abdullah Hamdok appealed to the sons and daughters of the Sudanese people not to fall victim to the racist mobilization campaigns and hate speech, emphasizing the need to confront incitement attempts that aim to deepen the preexisting strife between social components.
The former Sudanese Prime Minister called on peace advocates around the world to put forth efforts aiming to push the warring parties to stop the destructive war that has exhausted the country and caused severe damage to the civilian population and infrastructure.
