RSF Negotiating Delegation discusses developments
in the situation in Sudan with UN
The Negotiating Delegation of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), headed by Staff Brig. Gen. Omar Hamdan, and the official Spokesperson for the delegation, Maulana Mohammed Al-Mukhtar, met with the UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy for Sudan, Ramtane Lamamra. The two parties discussed the developments in the situation in Sudan.
The RSF Negotiating Delegation briefed the UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy for Sudan on the serious violations committed against civilians, in addition to thousands of casualties martyred on a daily basis by the Military Aviation of the hijacked Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), amidst international silence in regards to the atrocities incited and carried out by the terrorist Islamic Movement’s brigades and the mercenaries of the Armed Movements.
The delegation highlighted the irresponsible practices of the (Port Sudan gang), as they dared to deprive citizens from obtaining identification papers on a racist and regional basis, in addition to adopting flawed laws such as the Strange Faces Law. The Rapid Support Forces’ delegation also informed Ramtane Lamamra of the systematic destruction of the (Jebel Awliya) Dam and the floods it caused, which exacerbated the suffering of Sudanese citizens in the White Nile state.
The Negotiating Delegation of the Rapid Support Forces expressed appreciation for the United Nations and organizations putting forth significant efforts in the field of humanitarian affairs to alleviate the severity of the humanitarian situation on civilians.
