RSF extend control over the strategic Joda area in White Nile state

Video clips of members of the Rapid Support Forces confirmed they had managed to extend their control over the strategic (Joda) area in White Nile state.

A few days prior, the Rapid Support Forces imposed their control over (Al-Tabun), White Nile state – on the border with the Republic of South Sudan.

The Rapid Support Forces executed a surprise attack on an Army camp in (Al-Jabalian) district, White Nile state – on the border with South Sudan, which enabled them to extend their control over the area.

Pro-Rapid Support Forces platforms published videos documenting their fighters seizing control of (Al-Tabun) camp in (Al-Jabalian) district, White Nile state.

According to Al-Basha Tibeaq, Advisor to the Rapid Support Forces, the Commander of the (70th Brigade) in Al-Tabun military zone, White Nile state fled and surrendered himself to the government of South Sudan, after the Rapid Support Forces imposed their control over the area.

The battles are raging in Al-Jazeera state in Central Sudan and south of White Nile state – on the border with the Republic of South Sudan, as well as in the border areas between North Kordofan and White Nile states.
