Warplanes bomb the Tijaniyya Order Khalifa House in El-Fasher
and SAF prevents rescue of the wounded
On Thursday, the Sudanese Army’s warplanes bombed the house of the Khalifa of the Tijaniyya Order in El-Fasher, injuring a number of family members.
Al-Badali Ibrahim, a member of the Khalifa of the Tijaniyya Order’s family, told (Darfur 24) that the house of his uncle, Khalifa Mujtaba in the Tijaniyya neighborhood east of El-Fasher was bombed on Thursday -4:00 pm- by the Sudanese Army warplanes, injuring the Khalifa, his wife, and another family member.
He pointed out that attempts were made to rescue the injured, however, the Army blocked their parth and prevented them from reaching the hospital.
Al-Badali added that “The injured and their rescuers were shot at on their way to the hospital by Army Forces and the Joint Force present at the checkpoint near the house, despite the forces’ prior knowledge that they were civilians raising a white flag.”
He pointed out that the Army prevented them from heading west towards the hospital, following accusations of allegedly affiliating with the Rapid Support Forces, which in turn forced them to return and treat the wounded with what was available at home.
