Two women killed in SAF artillery shelling of farms west of El-Fasher

Two women were killed and others were injured yesterday, Sunday, in an artillery shelling by the Sudanese Army on farms on the road linking Zamzam Camp for displaced persons and El-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur.

Eyewitnesses told (Darfur 24) that the Army “Fired shells – in an indiscriminate manner, killing two women and wounding others in Al-Mazar and the gathering areas for the displaced persons fleeing El-Fasher in Fraesh area, west of the city.”

A Military source in the Army confirmed to (Darfur 24) that the artillery fired shells “In conjunction with skirmishes in the southeastern axis, and these shells may have caused casualties by mistake.”
