SAF airstrike kills 100 civilians in Balil locality in Nyala
The Balil locality Resistance Committees in the city of Nyala, South Darfur state said that the Sudanese Army’s warplanes launched an airstrike on Saturday targeting a camp for displaced persons in the locality.
The Balil locality Resistance Committees added in a statement reviewed by “Assayha” that the bombing resulted in the death of nearly (100) people, most of whom were women, elderly people and children, dozens were wounded and injured, in a massacre that exceeded imagination in its brutality.
The statement shared: (This crime comes within a series of brutal attacks targeting innocent civilians, as they are used as victims of political conflicts and ambitions that fail to take into account any consideration for humanity).
The Resistance Committees went on to add in their statement: (These crimes not only provoke the Sudanese people’s sentiments, but clearly reveal the criminality committed by the Army of the Islamic Movement led by Al-Burhan as well, which has crossed all red lines, without any accountability or real response from the international community. These victims are ignored because they don’t serve the agendas of the modern colonizer, hence they’re left to face a dark fate amidst shameful international silence).
The statement stressed that these criminal practices won’t pass unnoticed, calling on Sudan’s honorable people, along with the international community, to stand against these crimes and hold the perpetrators accountable before international courts.
It is noteworthy that the Sudanese Army’s warplanes have recently intensified their air sorties in various states of Sudan, which led to the death and injury of hundreds of civilians and the destruction of homes and properties.
